MUAC Z-SCORE TAPE

The MUAC z-score tapes are an easy way to assess children ages 2 months to 18 years for risk of malnutrition. There are two tapes included in each set to assess younger and older children as follows: a) 2-59 months, and b) 5-18 years. Following the instructions available at www.abbottstore.com/muac-instructions, these reusable tapes allow the user to measure the mid-upper arm circumference and read the corresponding z-score range for the child’s specific age. The tapes are color-coded according to the undernutrition categories marked directly on the tape for a straightforward assessment.
